L.O.L.E.R.
(Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations)
These Regulations place duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. This includes all businesses and organisations whose employees use lifting equipment, whether owned by them or not. In most cases, lifting equipment is also work equipment so the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) will also apply (including inspection and maintenance).

L.O.L.E.R. also requires that all equipment used for lifting is fit for purpose, appropriate for the task, suitably marked and, subject to statutory periodic thorough examination.

We provide thorough on-site examinations with comprehensive detailed reports that comply with L.O.L.E.R. regulations, as well as the option to conduct them at our premises in West Sussex.

If any items fail an inspection, we will notify you or the person responsible for the equipment, explain the reasons for the failure, and outline the available options.

If it’s possible to repair the item, we will offer to do so during the inspection, provided it can be done on-site at that time. Otherwise, we’ll arrange to bring it back to our workshop for repair if needed.

If the item is beyond repair, we can supply a replacement for most cases
